Reserve and E-Reserve Request online submission form
Reserve Collection holds books and videos selected by lecturers as required material for their units. These items are available as a 2 hour loan within the library. Academic staff can request items to be placed into the restricted Reserve Collection at any campus.
e-Reserve Collection allows digital copies of articles./ book chapters to be accessed online via the Library Catalogue. To ensure VU meets its licence and copyright obligations, material under third-party copyright must be stored in eReserve if intended for student use. The minimum turnaround time for Reserve /e-Reserve processing is 3 working days. Please note: Lecture notes and PowerPoint slides and lecture notes use VU Collaborate.

Materials Information
Please list the required items under the appropriate heading. Please ensure to provide correct citations for all items. There is no need to submit photocopies of book chapters/articles for scanning. The library will source all material for eReserve requests and process the requests according to copyright regulation.
WHOLE BOOKS /DVDs /CDs Citation details required: title, author, year of publication, edition and call number
BOOK CHAPTER Citation details required: author, chapter title, page numbers of chapter, book title, publisher and date of publication, edition
JOURNAL ARTICLE Citation details required: author, article title, journal title, year, volume number, issue number and page numbers of article
CASES Citation details required: party names, volume, year and page numbers
Date item to be removed from Reserve/E-Reserve* Note: E-Reserve materials that have been available online for more than 11 months need to be reviewed to ensure they should remain available. Copyright law deems a second communication to have occurred once a work has been online for 12 months.
