- If you have never borrowed before, your default PIN is your date-of-birth in
ddmmyyyy format.
- If you can't remember your PIN:
- For any other queries related to
using Library e-resources contact your Campus Library or send a
query via InfoQuest.

- Log on to: AD
- To change your password, press Ctrl-Alt + Delete on the
keyboard and click on the "Change Password" button.
- The new password must be formatted as follows:
- contain at least 8 characters or greater
- contain at least 1 uppercase letter
- contain at least 1 lowercase letter
- contain at least 1 numeral
- or a non-alphabetic character (such as !,$,#,%)
- please note that the password is case-sensitive

If you update your Active Directory (AD) password, this will
automatically become
your default VU Email password
- There is now a PC Booking system in place at most campus
libraries, all PCs are now time-restricted: 2 hours per user
with the option to extend to 3 hours (where no pre-existing
booking exists).
- Express PCs do NOT require a Username/Password, but are
time-restricted
- If you don't have (or can't remember) your Active Directory
(AD) login, then please contact ITS on 9919 2777 or email:
servicedesk@vu.edu.au.
Alternatively, you can go to a Library service desk and have
your AD login changed there (ID is required).

password within the Live website, it WILL NOT change your Active

Any change to the LDAP login in one system, will affect all related
systems also using the LDAP login.

* For most
staff, the LDAP username and password, is the login that they used
to access their email pre-Outlook. If you don't have (or can't

Off-Campus Technical Specifications |

The Library offers access to a range of resources
and services off campus. In order to use these you will need access
to a computer and software with the following specifications: Library recommendation of minimum hardware & software:
*Some specific databases are designed for
Internet Explorer. We recommend the use of the latest
version of any browser for use with databases. Online videos
require the setting of a security certificate only possible on the later
versions of Internet Explorer and Mozilla.
