As part of this year’s National Year of Reading the Footscray
Nicholson Library Learning Commons is supporting the campaign through
displays and activities throughout the site including:
- A display of fiction books and English as a Second Language (ESL) readers
- The setting up of a reading space within the Library
- A book swap on level one of the Learning Commons
A competition where students get to write a review of their favourite
book is also being planned for semester two – so keep an eye out for
details!
National Year of Reading aims to encourage and inspire people across
