AirPAC
What is AirPAC?
AirPAC is a version of the VU Library Catalogue designed especially for wireless devices.

AirPAC is currently enabled to allow WAP-enabled mobile phone users access.  As present, however, AirPAC is not enabled for other hand-held wireless devices (for example: Palm™) due to network security issues.

What is WAP?
Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) is an advanced messaging service on digital mobile phones and other mobile terminals, that allows you to see internet content in special text format.  Internet content designed for WAP access is configured quite differently, and some variation in the accessibility of services does occur.

If you'd like more information on this feature, we recommend that you contact your mobile phone service provider.
